Republic First Funding Reviews and Complaints

Republic First Funding reviews and complaints are useful when checking a mailed loan offer, comparing advertised rates or deciding whether to share application information. The key questions are who would fund the loan, what rate actually applies and whether any alternative proposal is a debt-settlement service.

Our research found a small public review sample and inconsistent rate information. This guide separates documented details from allegations and explains what to ask before proceeding. We have not applied for funding or tested support.

Republic First Funding Review Summary

  • Service: Markets personal loans and debt consolidation through lending partners.
  • Questions to resolve: Advertised APR differences, the actual lender and whether an alternative offer changes the type of service.
  • Review limits: A small public sample cannot establish a reliable satisfaction rate.
  • ZeroStars: Readers assign their own ratings; this article does not score the company.

Republic First Funding Company and Contact Information

The official website says Republic First Funding does not make loans or credit decisions and may send applicant information to lending partners.

Published contact details do not establish response times or confirm an office accepts visitors. If a lender or program provider has already issued an agreement, use that provider’s account-specific contact details.

Public Republic First Funding Reviews and Complaints

On September 15, 2026, Trustpilot’s republicfirstfunding.com profile displayed 2.9 out of 5 from three reviews. All three were dated in 2026: two one-star reviews and one two-star review.

Review date What the reviewer described
April 1, 2026 Concerns about promotional review claims and inconsistent rates.
May 28, 2026 A mail-offer code leading to a callback rather than immediately displayed loan terms.
August 5, 2026 Friendly representatives, a disputed credit-score figure and dissatisfaction with a loan or alternative debt-program proposal.

The August reviewer also suspected a connection between the application and a data exposure. We found no independent evidence establishing that causal link. Trustpilot displayed no replies to negative reviews. These are individual accounts, not verified findings of fraud, a breach or universal service failures.

We did not find a positive overall review in that three-review sample. That does not establish that all applicants are dissatisfied. Review counts and scores can change.

Republic First Funding APR and BBB Claims Need Clarification

The company FAQ contains conflicting figures: its APR answer says 2.99%–34.99%, while a disclaimer on the same page says 2.99%–24.99%. Ask which terms apply to your proposed loan and obtain the lender’s written disclosures.

The homepage also advertises an A+ BBB rating. However, the BBB profile for Republic First Funding in Fargo was marked under review when checked. We could not confirm the website’s A+ claim from that profile. An under-review notice is not, by itself, a finding of misconduct.

Before relying on an offer: Save the advertisement and request a dated proposal identifying the lender, APR, fees, repayment period and total amount repayable. Do not resolve inconsistent marketing figures by assuming the lower number applies.

What to Check Before Applying

A Mail Offer Is Not Final Approval

The website’s disclosures make approval and terms subject to lender review. Its funding timetable is tied to approval and verification, and availability varies by state. Ask about eligibility before providing detailed documents.

Confirm the Credit Inquiry

Its disclosures distinguish an initial soft inquiry from a possible hard inquiry if you proceed with a lender. Ask who will obtain your report, which step authorizes it and whether you are merely requesting options or completing an application.

Understand Who Receives Your Information

The privacy policy describes collecting contact information and, where applicable, financial and creditworthiness information. Review the policy and the exact consent wording on your application. Keep a copy and use the published privacy-request route for questions about your data.

Separate a Loan From Debt Settlement

A consolidation loan is new borrowing used to repay existing debts. A settlement service instead seeks concessions from creditors. Ask explicitly which service is being proposed, who provides it and whether creditors will continue receiving payments.

The CFPB’s debt-relief guidance warns that settlement can involve fees, credit damage, added interest and collection lawsuits when payments stop; creditors may refuse to participate. Those are general risks, not findings about this company. Consider discussing alternatives with creditors or a nonprofit credit counselor.

How to Address a Republic First Funding Complaint

  1. Identify the transaction. Record the website, date and company named on the proposal or agreement.
  2. Preserve the evidence. Save the mailer, rate screen, consent text and relevant messages.
  3. State the problem precisely. Describe the promised service, actual offer and any amount or inquiry in dispute.
  4. Request a written outcome. Ask for an explanation, correction or confirmation of a cancellation request under the applicable agreement.
  5. Track follow-up. Record when you contacted support and what happened next.

For an unresolved covered financial issue, review the CFPB complaint process. Name the responsible lender or service provider and submit supporting documents privately. A complaint does not guarantee a particular result.

Keep Social Security numbers, bank details, offer codes, application IDs, addresses and credit reports out of public reviews. Redact those details from screenshots.
