Overview

Pilot Flying J reviews can cover fuel, food, parking, showers, rewards and guest service at Pilot and Flying J travel centers. Share the location, what happened and how the business responded. ZeroStars welcomes positive, neutral and negative experiences on its −5 to +5 scale, including 0.

About Pilot Flying J

Pilot Company operates the Pilot and Flying J travel-center network and is wholly owned by Berkshire Hathaway. Its current consumer website and app use the Pilot name. The network also includes One9; participation and services depend on the particular location.

Use the official location directory to confirm the store number, address, phone and amenities. A travel center can include separately branded restaurants, repair services and other operators. Identify the business on your receipt rather than assuming one customer-service team handles every purchase made on the property.

Store Purchases, Food Orders and Returns

Pilot’s return-policy page summarizes full refunds within seven days and exchanges within 30 days for eligible in-store purchases. Ask the store or Guest Services to confirm the item’s eligibility and required documentation before traveling back; those timeframes should not be treated as a blanket guarantee for every product or service.

Keep the receipt, packaging and relevant photographs for a defective item or food-quality concern. Explain whether you want a replacement, refund or another remedy. For an order problem, retain the confirmation, selected store, pickup time and missing or incorrect items. Pilot’s FAQ directs guests to the receiving store for missing items, or Guest Services after leaving.

If the receipt names a restaurant brand or third-party ordering service, use its order-help route as appropriate. Distinguish food preparation, delivery, payment and the travel-center facility itself when describing the issue.

Prime Parking Reservations and Cancellations

Prime Parking provides reservable truck parking at participating locations. Keep the confirmation showing the store, vehicle details and reservation dates. Follow the arrival instructions, including printing and displaying the parking hang tag.

The current FAQ permits cancellation through the app, website or Guest Services. Refunds are available when cancellation occurs before noon in the store’s local time on the reservation day. Save the cancellation confirmation and contact support if the reservation or refund status is unclear.

If you arrive and cannot use the reserved parking, notify the location promptly and document the reservation and circumstances. Ask staff for assistance before assuming a different space is covered or leaving without reporting the problem.

Showers and Shower Credits

Pilot’s shower guide explains how to join the queue through the app, kiosk, website or register after arrival. A qualifying commercial diesel purchase of at least 50 gallons earns a shower credit. Credits are valid for up to 10 days and cover one shower each.

Shower Power is a separate benefit: the current guidance says fueling 1,000 gallons in a month allows activation for one free shower daily through the rest of that month and the following month. Check your account’s credits and activation status before booking.

For an unusable shower, cleanliness concern, missing credit or queue problem, tell staff while you are there. Record the store, time and reservation details, then ask how the credit or charge will be handled. Do not share a shower-access code in your public review.

Pilot App, Rewards and Missing Points

The professional-driver rewards page distinguishes ordinary commercial-diesel points from PushForPoints and Elite benefits. PushForPoints requires monthly activation. Elite involves qualifying monthly gallons and activation for the following month; it should not be confused with an ordinary auto-driver fuel offer.

For missing points, the app’s Account tab includes Transaction History and a Request Points option for uploading a receipt. Keep screenshots of the offer, activation and purchase. Pilot’s FAQ says rewards are not available at stores in its fuel dealer network, so confirm participation for the location involved.

For login, wallet or account-linking trouble, contact Guest Services through the official website. Never send passwords, wallet security codes or full card numbers in a review. Separate a loyalty issue from a fleet-card billing issue; business account holders should use their fleet account support route for statements or credit questions.

Fuel Payments and Truck Repairs

For a charge that differs from your receipt, ask the payment issuer whether it is a pending authorization or completed charge. Provide Pilot with the store, pump, fuel type, gallons, date and amount when requesting a transaction investigation. Keep the receipt and any case reference.

If you suspect fuel caused a vehicle problem, preserve diagnostic findings and repair invoices and ask Guest Services how to submit a documented concern. A breakdown after fueling does not by itself establish the cause or guarantee reimbursement.

Southern Tire Mart at Pilot provides truck maintenance, tires and roadside repair services through Pilot’s partnership. Its published assistance number is 833-260-7867. For a repair dispute, contact the service provider named on the work order and retain the estimate, authorizations, invoice and warranty documents. Store returns, repair workmanship and a parts manufacturer’s warranty are different matters.

How to Escalate a Pilot Flying J Complaint
  1. Ask the location’s manager for help with an immediate store, shower, parking or food concern.
  2. Contact Guest Services with the store number, date, receipt or reservation details and the resolution you want.
  3. Retain the reply and case reference. Follow up with a concise timeline and explain what remains unresolved.
  4. For separately operated services, also contact the provider on the receipt or work order.

Use these routes for compliments as well. A review can recognize helpful staff, a clean facility or a problem that was resolved promptly, while still explaining any shortcomings.

Writing a Useful Pilot Flying J Review

Include the store number or city, approximate visit date and service used. A fuel stop, reserved parking stay, shower and repair job can involve different expectations. Describe the condition, wait time, accuracy of charges and response from staff. Identify any separate restaurant or service provider involved.

Choose a score from −5 to +5 that reflects your experience. Negative scores express dissatisfaction, positive scores express satisfaction, and 0 is valid for a neutral or mixed experience. Explain the outcome of any complaint and update your review if the matter is later resolved. Keep private account and payment information out of the public post.
