PowRyte pressure washer reviews and complaints can concern product performance, order support and safety. This guide explains the current CPSC warning and how to ask the seller about your purchase.

The notice identifies green-and-black PowRyte units sold through Amazon and eBay, with accessories such as nozzles and a foam cannon. Use its actual product photograph and description for identification. This page’s editorial graphic is not a photograph of the warned-about unit or its electrical components.

CPSC names Powell Works, Inc. and says it did not respond to recall requests. The agency lists one reported incident involving a missing GFCI; it supplies no incident date. That official count is separate from independently verified customer accounts.

The inspected notice is a safety warning and does not announce a manufacturer refund, repair or replacement program. We have not verified a functioning manufacturer claim channel. An old product listing is not proof that a current claim form or warranty service is available.

1. Open the original order in the marketplace account used for the purchase. Record the seller, order date and product description privately.
2. For an Amazon purchase, check Your Recalls and Product Safety Alerts. Amazon’s published safety guidance directs buyers to the seller when the manufacturer cannot be reached.
3. For an eBay purchase, use the seller-contact options within the actual order. Explain that the request concerns CPSC warning 27-036 and ask for written instructions.
4. Ask what purchase remedy is offered, what documentation is needed, and how an approved payment will be confirmed. Keep the response with the order record.

Keep available order evidence and safe identification photographs without powering the washer for a demonstration. Do not delay the official safety action while waiting for a seller to answer. This guide does not recommend a plug modification, electrical test or workaround.

Use SaferProducts.gov to report a product-safety incident to CPSC. Keep that process separate from a seller reimbursement request and a public ZeroStars review.

We have not independently inspected a firsthand incident account or confirmed a completed customer remedy for this guide. CPSC’s statement about unanswered recall requests does not establish how every support interaction was handled. Positive, mixed and resolved purchase experiences are welcome, but a positive review does not negate an agency safety warning.
