Dollar General currently states that eligible DG Brands merchandise:

• May be returned in its original packaging with a receipt within 90 days;

• May receive an equal-value exchange or gift card when returned without a receipt; and
• Should generally be returned to the store where it was purchased.

Online and Shipped Merchandise

Dollar General’s shopping terms state that certain merchandise purchased online cannot be returned to a Dollar General retail store. Follow the return instructions connected to the specific order.

Do not mail returned merchandise to Dollar General’s corporate headquarters unless the company provides written authorization and return instructions.

Refund Not Received

If a promised refund has not appeared:

1. Confirm the refund amount and payment method.
2. Ask for the date the refund was processed.
3. Request a refund confirmation or case number.
4. Allow for the payment provider’s normal processing time.
5. Follow up using the same case number.

Order complaints may involve:

• Missing or incorrect merchandise;
