October 22, 2026 recall: CPSC says the affected LED projecting finger-light toys have accessible button-cell battery compartments, creating an ingestion hazard. Stop use and contact the seller using recall 27-042 and its official instructions. The published remedy is a refund.
How Do I Identify the Recalled Set?
The notice covers about 6,533 sets sold on Amazon from March 2025 through August 2026. It describes a box of 32 multicolored finger lights projecting space-themed patterns. Compare the official product and packaging photographs; a different pack size or design should not automatically be treated as covered.
CPSC names Shenzhen Maiduoduo Trading Technology Co., Ltd., doing business as Bamamon, and reports no incidents or injuries. That statement does not prove no unreported incident occurred. Our original editorial image is not a product-identification photograph.
Where Do I Request the Refund?
The agency lists bamamonproductrecall@outlook.com. Its notice calls for a disposal photograph and separately warns that batteries require local hazardous-waste disposal or recycling procedures. Follow both parts of the official instructions rather than improvising battery handling.
The contact’s provenance is the CPSC notice linked above. Cross-check the spelling there before sending a message. A consumer email domain alone does not establish whether a contact is legitimate or illegitimate.
Before completing the claim: Ask for confirmation that your set is covered, what documentation is required and how payment will be sent. Keep the reply and any claim reference privately. We have not independently verified processing times, exact individual refund amounts or completed payouts.
What If the Recall Contact Does Not Reply?
Keep your original message and any delivery-failure notice. Check the exact address against the official notice, then use the original Amazon order to contact the seller about your recall request.
Amazon’s product-safety guidance explains how to find purchase-specific alerts and directs customers to the seller if the manufacturer cannot be reached. A marketplace support conversation does not itself establish that a particular refund has been approved.
Keep the Claim and Its Outcome Separate
A useful private record includes the order date, seller name, matching product description, contact date, requested documentation and any payment confirmation. Record the difference between an email being sent, the claim being acknowledged, a remedy being approved and funds actually arriving.
