Harkla swing recall: If your blue compression sensory swing has the recalled four-hole ceiling hook, stop using it until repaired. The hook can separate from its mounting plate. Use Harkla’s hardware photos and repair-kit registration page to identify the mount and request the free kit.
This guide covers the specified swing recall and owners’ experiences getting help. It is not an assessment of every Harkla product or a clinical review of sensory swings.
Which Harkla swings are recalled?
The October 29, 2026 CPSC notice, recall 27-060, identifies blue compression swings supplied with four-hole ceiling hooks. Packaging SKUs are LS-COMP-1BLU and LS-COMP-1BLU-SW. The notice names Base Products LLC, doing business as Harkla, as importer.
Harkla says the two-hole hook pictured on its recall page is excluded. If you cannot identify your hardware, send the recall team a private photo and keep the swing out of use while you clarify. A purchase date alone does not identify the installed hook.
How to request the free repair kit
- Compare your hardware with the official photos. Keep your receipt and packaging information if available.
- Complete the form on Harkla’s recall page. Harkla asks owners with multiple affected swings to submit once for each kit.
- Save your confirmation and follow the replacement instructions supplied with the kit. Keep the swing out of use until the repair is properly completed.
CPSC describes a free kit, including shipping, with a replacement mounting plate, safety strap and updated instructions. Follow the program’s directions for disposal of the original hook.

Waiting for a kit or installation help?
A registration confirmation is different from shipment, delivery and completed installation. Keep those dates separately when following up. ZeroStars has not authenticated individual kit deliveries or established a typical completion time.
Harkla’s recall FAQ says to contact it before scheduling if you need installation assistance; it offers help arranging a qualified professional and covering reasonable, approved recall-related installation costs. Ask for the arrangements in writing before incurring a charge.

No. The official notices identify the affected blue compression swings and four-hole ceiling hooks. Use the photographs and ask Harkla if your hardware is unclear.
Does a repair-kit request mean the problem is resolved?
