Stop using the recalled bed rail immediately. CPSC recall 27-029, dated October 15, 2026, identifies entrapment and asphyxiation hazards, stability and retention-strap failures, and missing warnings. No incidents or injuries were reported in the notice.
Check the Opening and Packaging Name
The recall covers Xalirium rails without vertical bars inside the opening. CPSC describes a white frame, black grips and a black pouch, with Xalirium on the packaging label. Compare the official product and label photographs; this page’s illustration is not a product-identification image.
About 200 units were sold on Amazon from February–August 2026. CPSC identifies the importer as Opal Vista Ltd., doing business as usOpal, of China.
