About Curb

Curb offers taxi booking and payment tools in supported U.S. markets. Its app includes Ride Now, advance requests through Ride Later, and Pair & Pay for paying through the app when you are already in a participating cab. The service available to you depends on your location and the taxi involved.

Pickup, Booking, and Ride Problems

For an app booking problem, keep the ride details and explain whether a driver was assigned, the vehicle reached the pickup point, or the trip was canceled. Include the city and approximate time, and distinguish the pickup location you selected from where you were waiting.

When reporting a taxi experience, clarify how you used Curb: an app-requested trip, Pair & Pay after entering a cab, or a payment at the in-vehicle terminal. That distinction helps support identify the transaction and determine whether the issue concerns the app, payment system, or taxi operator.

For a scheduled request, check the current booking status rather than treating the original request alone as proof that a driver is on the way. If your travel plans change, use the cancellation controls shown for your booking and save the confirmation.

Unexpected Charges, Holds, and Refund Requests

Curb’s rider-support FAQ explains that its backseat payment terminals can create a Curb card charge even when the passenger never used the app. Compare the date and amount with recent taxi rides before concluding that the charge is unrelated to you.

The same FAQ says a booking can place a temporary payment hold. Curb distinguishes this from a completed charge and says canceled-ride holds are automatically voided, with bank removal generally taking 3–5 business days.

For a suspected duplicate payment, compare posted transactions with the ride receipt. Explain whether you paid in the app, at the terminal, or another way. Send rider support the trip date, amount, city, and receipt if available, and identify the specific correction you want reviewed. Do not email full card numbers or security codes.

For a cancellation or no-show dispute, describe the timing and circumstances and ask which rule and charge applied to your particular booking. Avoid assuming a single fee applies in every city. A refund request does not guarantee approval; retain the response and ask whether any approved adjustment concerns the fare, a fee, or a temporary hold.

Finding a Taxi Receipt

For an app trip, Curb’s receipt instructions describe opening Ride History, selecting the trip, then choosing See Receipt and Resend Receipt. If you need a copy through the website, use the official trip-receipt request form and follow the email instructions.

A receipt can help connect a payment question to the correct ride. Keep any taxi identifier, operator name, and pickup or drop-off details you have. If someone else booked or paid, ask that person to help locate the record and coordinate the payment inquiry.

Lost Items

Curb directs passengers to its Lost and Found form. Submit the report promptly and follow the emailed next steps. Include a clear description of the item and the available ride details.

Keep a copy of your submission and use the same reference when following up. If you know the taxi operator, keep that information available too. Filing a report does not establish that the item has been found or guarantee its return.

Share Your Curb Experience

Explain how you used Curb, what happened, how support responded, and whether the issue was resolved. Positive, negative, and mixed firsthand reviews are welcome on the −5 to +5 scale, including 0. Frequently asked questions

Curb FAQs

Why is there a Curb charge if I never downloaded the app?

Curb also supplies taxi card-payment terminals. Paying through one can produce a Curb charge without an app booking. Check your recent taxi receipts against the transaction.

How do I request a refund or dispute a fare?

Email rider support with the ride and payment details, explain the disputed amount, and request a review. Identify whether the payment was made through the app or in the taxi.

How do I get another copy of my receipt?

Use Ride History and the receipt-resend option for an app trip, or submit Curb’s official trip-receipt request form.

Where should I report an item left in a taxi?

Use Curb’s Lost and Found form and follow the emailed instructions. Provide the trip details and a specific description of the missing item.
