DreamCloud Mattress Reviews, Complaints and Warranty Issues

DreamCloud Mattress Reviews, Complaints and Warranty Issues

DreamCloud is a mattress and bedroom-products brand operated through Resident and the Ashley family of companies. DreamCloud currently sells hybrid and memory-foam mattresses, adjustable bases, bed frames, bedding and related products. This page examines DreamCloud mattress reviews and complaints involving sagging, product authenticity, returns, delivery, warranties and customer service.

Quick Verdict: DreamCloud is an established mattress brand sold online and through authorized retailers. However, the two reviews currently published on ZeroStars are negative. One purchaser questions whether a mattress bought from a retailer was genuine, while another reports that a $1,500 mattress began sagging after approximately one year. The authenticity concern remains unverified, and the sagging complaint requires information about the mattress model, foundation, indentation depth and warranty response.

DreamCloud Mattress Reviews and Complaints

As of July 21, 2026, ZeroStars has two published DreamCloud Mattress reviews and an overall rating of -2.5 stars.

Two reviews are not enough to establish a broad positive or negative customer consensus. ZeroStars therefore does not claim that most DreamCloud customers experience sagging, counterfeit merchandise, delivery problems or unsuccessful warranty claims.

Current DreamCloud Complaint Themes on ZeroStars

  • Product-authenticity concern: One reviewer questions whether a mattress bought from a retail store was a genuine DreamCloud product after that store later closed.
  • Sagging after approximately one year: A second reviewer says a mattress costing about $1,500 initially seemed satisfactory but began to sag within roughly one year.
  • Value for the price: The sagging reviewer believes the mattress did not provide reasonable durability for its cost.
  • Need for warranty documentation: Neither review currently explains whether DreamCloud evaluated the mattress or approved or denied a warranty claim.

These are individual customer reports. ZeroStars has not inspected either mattress, verified that one was counterfeit or determined whether the reported sagging meets DreamCloud’s current warranty requirements.

What Is DreamCloud?

DreamCloud sells mattresses and related bedroom products through its official website and a network of retail stores.

Its current mattress selection can include:

  • DreamCloud Classic Hybrid;
  • DreamCloud Premier Hybrid;
  • DreamCloud Luxe Hybrid;
  • DreamCloud Ultra Hybrid;
  • DreamCloud Classic Memory Foam;
  • DreamCloud Premier Memory Foam;
  • DreamCloud Luxe Memory Foam;
  • DreamCloud Ultra Memory Foam; and
  • Selected PressureSmart mattress products.

Mattress construction, height, cover material, foam layers, coil systems and firmness can vary by model and production year. An older review may describe a mattress that differs from the version currently sold under a similar name.

Is DreamCloud a Legitimate Mattress Brand?

DreamCloud is an identifiable mattress brand operated through Resident Home LLC and associated Ashley entities. DreamCloud maintains an official website, publishes support contacts, sells through retail stores and provides trial and warranty policies.

That does not mean every seller using the DreamCloud name is authorized or that every product represented as DreamCloud is genuine.

A product-authenticity concern should be investigated using:

  • The original purchase receipt;
  • The seller’s name and location;
  • DreamCloud’s authorized-retailer records;
  • The mattress law tag;
  • Model and production information;
  • Serial or lot information;
  • Photographs of the cover and labels; and
  • Written confirmation from DreamCloud.

How to Check Whether a DreamCloud Mattress Is Genuine

A retail store closing after a purchase does not, by itself, prove that the mattress was counterfeit.

Step 1: Locate the Purchase Records

Find:

  • The sales receipt;
  • Credit-card or financing statement;
  • Delivery confirmation;
  • Model description;
  • Seller’s legal business name;
  • Purchase date; and
  • Any written warranty supplied by the retailer.

Step 2: Inspect the Law Tag

The mattress law tag may contain:

  • Manufacturer or importer information;
  • Model or product identification;
  • Material disclosures;
  • Manufacturing date;
  • Factory information;
  • Registration or permit numbers; and
  • A statement concerning new materials.

Do not remove the law tag or mattress cover while investigating the product. Removing identifying materials can make a warranty or authenticity inquiry more difficult.

Step 3: Contact DreamCloud

Provide:

  • Photographs of the mattress;
  • Photographs of every label;
  • Purchase date and location;
  • Mattress model and size;
  • A copy of the receipt with payment details redacted; and
  • A request for written confirmation that the seller and product were authorized.

Buying DreamCloud From a Retail Store

DreamCloud mattresses are sold through the official website and selected retail stores. A retail purchase may involve different procedures from a direct online purchase.

Before buying from a store, confirm:

  • That the retailer is currently authorized;
  • The exact mattress model;
  • Whether the mattress is new, returned, floor-model or clearance merchandise;
  • Which company handles returns;
  • Whether the 365-night trial applies;
  • Whether the retailer has a separate comfort-exchange policy;
  • Which company handles warranty claims;
  • Whether delivery and removal fees are refundable; and
  • What happens if the retail location closes.

DreamCloud’s current trial policy applies to direct purchases and certain authorized-retailer purchases. Do not assume that every store purchase automatically has identical return procedures.

DreamCloud Mattress Sagging Complaints

Sagging can describe several different conditions:

  • A visible indentation that remains when the mattress is empty;
  • Normal softening of foam;
  • A sleeper sinking more deeply than expected;
  • A weak or damaged foundation;
  • Missing center support;
  • Bent frame components;
  • Uneven flooring;
  • A mattress used on an incompatible base; or
  • A manufacturing defect in the foam or internal structure.

A comfort complaint is not automatically the same as a measurable warranty defect.

Current DreamCloud Indentation Standard

DreamCloud’s current warranty lists deterioration causing a visible indentation greater than 1.5 inches as a potentially covered defect, provided that the indentation is not associated with an improper or unsupportive foundation.

DreamCloud also lists foam splitting, cracking or degradation under normal use and certain manufacturing defects in the mattress-cover assembly as potentially covered conditions.

How to Measure Mattress Sagging

  1. Remove sheets, blankets, pillows and mattress pads.
  2. Allow the mattress to remain unused long enough to return to its resting shape.
  3. Place a rigid straightedge across the affected area.
  4. Measure from the bottom of the straightedge to the lowest point of the indentation.
  5. Take photographs from several angles.
  6. Include a measuring tape or ruler in the photographs.
  7. Photograph the entire bed frame and foundation.
  8. Photograph center supports and legs.
  9. Record the measurement date.
  10. Do not place weights on the mattress to exaggerate the indentation.

Photographs showing only a person lying on the mattress generally do not establish the depth of an unloaded permanent indentation.

Check the Bed Frame and Foundation

DreamCloud’s warranty requires the mattress to remain on a firm, structurally adequate base capable of supporting the mattress and its users.

Inspect:

  • Bed-frame rails;
  • Center beams;
  • Center support legs;
  • Platform panels;
  • Slat spacing;
  • Box-spring condition;
  • Adjustable-base operation;
  • Loose fasteners;
  • Bent metal components; and
  • Uneven or damaged flooring.

A mattress that appears to sag may instead be following a bowed foundation, broken slat or unsupported center section.

DreamCloud 365-Night Home Trial

DreamCloud currently advertises a 365-night home trial for qualifying mattresses.

The trial begins on the mattress-delivery date and is intended to allow the customer to use the mattress in a normal sleep environment on a proper foundation.

Important Trial Conditions

  • An opened mattress return request generally cannot be initiated during the first 30 days after delivery.
  • An opened mattress return request must be initiated no later than 365 days after delivery.
  • An unopened mattress can be returned immediately after delivery.
  • A mattress not opened within 90 days of delivery may be considered misused and ineligible for return and warranty claims.
  • The mattress must be sanitary and suitable for donation.
  • The mattress cannot contain rips, stains or excessive signs of wear.
  • A donation partner may inspect the mattress.
  • The donation partner has final discretion concerning donation eligibility.

DreamCloud advertises free returns, but customers must still satisfy the detailed eligibility requirements.

How to Start a DreamCloud Mattress Return

  1. Locate the order confirmation and delivery date.
  2. Confirm that the request falls within the applicable trial period.
  3. Photograph the mattress from all sides.
  4. Photograph the law tag and model labels.
  5. Confirm that the mattress is clean and undamaged.
  6. Call 1-833-237-3269.
  7. Email returns@dreamcloudsleep.com.
  8. Request a return case number.
  9. Follow the instructions for inspection, donation or pickup.
  10. Save all scheduling messages and pickup documentation.
  11. Request written confirmation of the approved refund amount.
  12. Monitor the original payment method for the refund.

Review DreamCloud’s current trial policy.

Can a DreamCloud Mattress Return Be Denied?

A mattress-return request may be denied when:

  • The request is outside the trial period;
  • An opened mattress has not completed the required initial period;
  • The mattress remained unopened beyond the policy’s allowed period;
  • The mattress is stained or unsanitary;
  • The mattress is torn or damaged;
  • The mattress was misused;
  • The mattress cannot be donated;
  • The purchaser cannot provide sufficient order information;
  • The mattress was bought from an ineligible seller; or
  • The product is furniture, bedding or another item governed by a different trial.

Furniture, bedding, mattress toppers and promotional accessories do not necessarily receive the same 365-night trial as a mattress.

DreamCloud Forever Warranty

DreamCloud currently markets its mattress protection as a Forever Warranty.

The current warranty page describes remedies including:

  • Replacement with a new DreamCloud mattress of equal or greater value during the first ten years for a confirmed covered defect; and
  • Repair, re-covering or replacement during years ten and later, with stated transportation charges that may be waived if DreamCloud confirms a defect.

Current Warranty-Page Inconsistency

DreamCloud’s current published warranty contains conflicting language.

The page is titled “Mattress Forever Warranty” and describes remedies during the first ten years and years ten and later. However, another section states that DreamCloud warrants the mattress against the listed defects for one full year from delivery.

Because those provisions appear inconsistent, customers should:

  1. Save a PDF or screenshot of the warranty at the time of purchase.
  2. Save the product page showing the advertised warranty.
  3. Keep the receipt and delivery confirmation.
  4. Ask DreamCloud in writing how long the warranty applies to the exact mattress.
  5. Ask which provision controls when a claim occurs after one year.
  6. Preserve the written response.

ZeroStars cannot determine from the conflicting page language which provision DreamCloud would apply to every future claim.

What the DreamCloud Warranty May Cover

The current policy identifies potential coverage for:

  • A visible indentation greater than 1.5 inches that is not caused by an improper foundation;
  • Foam that degrades, splits or cracks despite normal use and handling; and
  • Certain manufacturing defects in the mattress-cover assembly.

What the DreamCloud Warranty May Exclude

The current policy excludes or limits coverage for conditions including:

  • Comfort preference;
  • Normal foam softening that does not affect pressure relief;
  • An improper or inadequate frame or foundation;
  • Misuse, neglect or accidental damage;
  • Burns, cuts or tears;
  • Liquid damage and stains;
  • Environmental damage;
  • A removed mattress cover;
  • Used, returned, reconditioned or previously owned mattresses;
  • Loss of ownership by the original purchaser; and
  • Replacement shipments outside eligible U.S. locations.

The warranty is currently described as nontransferable and limited to the original purchaser.

How to File a DreamCloud Warranty Claim

  1. Locate the original receipt.
  2. Identify the purchase and delivery dates.
  3. Identify the exact mattress model.
  4. Photograph the entire mattress.
  5. Measure any visible indentation.
  6. Photograph the foundation and center supports.
  7. Photograph the law tag.
  8. Explain when the condition began.
  9. Describe whether the condition remains when the mattress is empty.
  10. Email the evidence to DreamCloud support.
  11. Request a warranty case number.
  12. Ask which warranty version applies.
  13. Save the approval, denial or request for additional evidence.

Comfort Preference Versus a Mattress Defect

Mattress comfort is subjective. The same model may feel firm to one sleeper and soft to another because of differences involving:

  • Body weight;
  • Sleeping position;
  • Body shape;
  • Room temperature;
  • Foundation type;
  • Previous mattress;
  • Personal pressure sensitivity; and
  • Model construction.

A mattress feeling uncomfortable does not necessarily prove a manufacturing defect. Comfort dissatisfaction is generally handled through the home trial rather than the defect warranty.

Persistent or severe pain should be evaluated by a qualified healthcare professional. DreamCloud’s warranty does not guarantee that a mattress is suitable for a particular medical condition.

DreamCloud Delivery Complaints

Delivery complaints can involve:

  • Shipment delays;
  • Tracking that does not update;
  • Separate bundle items arriving on different dates;
  • Damage to the shipping box;
  • An incorrect mattress model or size;
  • White-glove scheduling;
  • Removal of an old mattress;
  • Delivery to an incorrect address; or
  • Difficulty contacting the carrier or delivery contractor.

Inspect the Delivery

  1. Confirm the name and address on the shipment.
  2. Photograph damaged packaging before opening it.
  3. Verify the mattress model and size.
  4. Photograph all labels.
  5. Keep the order and tracking records.
  6. Report missing bundle items separately.
  7. Document damage caused during delivery.
  8. Do not discard packaging until the product is identified and inspected.

DreamCloud White-Glove Delivery Complaints

When paying for an upgraded delivery or setup service, confirm exactly what is included.

Ask whether the service includes:

  • Delivery into the home;
  • Delivery to a particular floor;
  • Unpacking;
  • Mattress expansion or placement;
  • Bed-frame assembly;
  • Removal of packaging;
  • Removal of the existing mattress;
  • Removal of an old foundation; and
  • Protection for walls, floors and doors.

Delivery-service charges and mattress-return rights may be treated separately. Ask whether an upgraded delivery fee is refundable before ordering it.

DreamCloud Refund Complaints

A mattress refund can be delayed by:

  • An incomplete return request;
  • Missing purchase information;
  • Scheduling a donation partner;
  • A sanitation or donation-eligibility inspection;
  • Failure to provide requested photographs;
  • Pickup confirmation not reaching DreamCloud;
  • A payment dispute already opened with the card issuer;
  • Different return rules from a retail seller; or
  • A bundle containing items with separate policies.

Refund Documentation Checklist

  • Order confirmation;
  • Delivery date;
  • Return-request date;
  • Case number;
  • Photographs;
  • Pickup or donation receipt;
  • Approved refund amount;
  • Original payment method;
  • Promised processing period; and
  • Bank or card statement showing whether the credit posted.

What to Do About an Unrecognized DreamCloud Charge

  1. Search email accounts for DreamCloud or Resident receipts.
  2. Ask other authorized card users.
  3. Check whether an adjustable base, bedding bundle or delivery service was purchased separately.
  4. Compare the charge with the complete order total.
  5. Contact DreamCloud using its official support information.
  6. Request a copy of the order record.
  7. Contact the financing provider when applicable.
  8. Contact the card issuer promptly when the transaction was unauthorized.

Do not publish payment-card information or complete order records in a public review.

How to Escalate a DreamCloud Complaint

Step 1: Contact Customer Support

Step 2: Submit a Concise Written Timeline

Include:

  • Order and delivery dates;
  • Mattress model and size;
  • Seller;
  • Problem discovered;
  • Measurements and photographs;
  • Return or warranty case number;
  • Previous responses;
  • The policy provision involved; and

Step 3: Review the Dispute Terms

DreamCloud’s policies contain dispute-resolution, jury-waiver and class-action-waiver provisions. Review the terms that applied at the time of purchase before beginning a formal legal dispute.

Step 4: Consider an Appropriate Outside Route

Depending on the issue, a customer may consider contacting:

  • The retailer that sold the mattress;
  • The financing provider;
  • The payment-card issuer;
  • Better Business Bureau;
  • The applicable state consumer-protection office;
  • A qualified mattress inspector;
  • A furniture or consumer-products attorney; or
  • The dispute-resolution service identified in the applicable terms.

DreamCloud Trustpilot and BBB Reviews

Trustpilot currently displays several dozen U.S. DreamCloud reviews and a predominantly negative overall score. Review topics include firmness, sagging, delivery, upgraded delivery services, returns, warranty claims and customer support. A smaller number of reviewers describe comfortable mattresses or successful service interactions.

Trustpilot states that DreamCloud has not recently invited reviews through that profile, so its sample may not represent DreamCloud’s complete customer base.

BBB currently lists DreamCloud as accredited with an A+ business rating while also displaying a substantial number of customer complaints. The BBB rating does not include customer-review ratings in its calculation and should not be interpreted as a product endorsement.

  • The exact mattress model and size;
  • The price paid;
  • The foundation or frame used;
  • The delivery experience;
  • How long the mattress was used;

Positive reviews are also welcome. Explain which model you purchased, how long you have owned it and what specifically worked well.
