About FedEx Office
FedEx Office offers in-store packing and shipping assistance as well as printing services. This page covers the retail and print-order experience. For experiences involving the delivery network, visit our FedEx reviews and complaints page.
Tracking a Shipment or Print Order
A print order number and a parcel tracking number serve different purposes. Use FedEx Office print-order tracking for an order placed with the printing service. For a shipped parcel, use the tracking resources on FedEx Customer Support.
If you are unsure whether a print job is ready, ask the location handling it before traveling there. For a shipment delay, keep the drop-off receipt and compare the latest scan with the service purchased. A store transaction, package acceptance, and final delivery are separate events; explain which step appears to have gone wrong.
Missing or Damaged Packages
FedEx’s claims page lets recipients contact the merchant for a replacement, ask the merchant to file a claim, or file their own claim. Coordinate with the sender so you know whether a case already exists. The sender or merchant may need to provide the shipping transaction and proof of value; the recipient can document what arrived.
Have the tracking number and supporting documents ready. Photograph damage to the contents and packaging, and keep the original box, packing materials, and contents until the claim is resolved. For a FedEx Office pack-and-ship purchase, also retain the packing and shipping receipts.
Report problems promptly. The claims page lists different deadlines for damaged or missing contents and for lost shipments, with additional differences for international packages. Check the requirements for your shipment instead of waiting for a store complaint to resolve first. A support conversation is not necessarily a completed claim.
What the FedEx Office Packing Pledge Covers
The FedEx Office Packing Pledge applies to qualifying items packed by FedEx Office staff in new FedEx packaging and shipped from that store at the time of packing through the specified FedEx services. Customer-packed parcels do not qualify.
Loss or damage still requires a claim and review under the applicable shipment terms. The published pledge states that liability is generally limited to $100 per package unless a higher value is declared and the additional charge is paid. Some items have separate limits. Ask staff about your particular item and keep the receipt; the pledge is not an unconditional promise to pay the amount you request.
Refunds, Print Problems, and Merchant Returns
For late delivery, consult the current FedEx money-back guarantee policy. It applies only to selected services and has conditions and suspensions. Ask the shipping payer to pursue an eligible transportation-charge adjustment. A carrier adjustment and a merchant’s refund for purchased goods are separate matters.
For a FedEx Office print problem, compare the finished product with the submitted file and order specifications. The official support policy allows discretionary reprints for certain quality, manufacturing, or shipping-damage problems. Customer file errors are excluded. Contact support immediately about changes or cancellation because orders cannot be changed or canceled once production begins.
For a prepaid merchant return dropped at FedEx Office, save the receipt and ask the merchant about its refund status. Provide the tracking details and follow its return instructions. For a disputed store charge, identify the specific line on your receipt and ask the store manager to review it.
Share Your FedEx Office Experience
Include the location, service purchased, what happened, and how staff or support responded. Explain whether the issue was resolved. Avoid posting tracking numbers, private addresses, payment details, or other personal information. Firsthand positive, negative, and mixed reviews are welcome on the −5 to +5 scale, including 0.

Frequently asked questions
FedEx Office FAQs
Does dropping off my own packed box qualify for the Packing Pledge?
No. The pledge excludes customer-packed packages. Review the applicable shipment terms separately from the pledge.
Can the recipient report a lost or damaged shipment?
Yes. FedEx describes a recipient claim option as well as working through the merchant. Coordinate with the sender and preserve the evidence needed to support the claim.
Should I use parcel tracking to check whether my printing is ready?
Use FedEx Office’s print-order tracking or contact the location handling the job. Parcel tracking is relevant once an order is shipped.
Will a ZeroStars review get me a refund?
No. A review shares your experience publicly. Contact the appropriate store, FedEx support team, or merchant separately to request a resolution.
