Homeaglow Reviews & Complaints

Homeaglow is an online platform that connects consumers with independent house cleaners. Customers can choose a cleaner, schedule appointments, pay through the platform, and book either discounted membership cleanings or a separately offered one-time cleaning.

Homeaglow reviews are sharply divided. Some consumers praise individual cleaners and the convenience of online booking, while others report concerns involving the ForeverClean membership, recurring monthly charges, cancellation costs, cleaner no-shows, inconsistent cleaning, property damage, refunds, and difficulty reaching customer support.

Homeaglow is a real house-cleaning marketplace, but consumers should understand that its heavily discounted introductory cleaning is normally connected to the recurring ForeverClean membership.

The membership fee does not pay for future cleaning appointments. Members pay the monthly membership charge and then separately pay the cleaner’s hourly rate, applicable booking fees, taxes, tips, extras, and other displayed charges.

Homeaglow now also advertises a one-time-cleaning option for consumers who do not want a membership. Before entering payment information, confirm whether the booking is a membership offer or a full-price one-time cleaning.

The ZeroStars Homeaglow listing currently has three reviews and an overall rating of -5 stars.

The reviews include allegations involving:

• Cleaners canceling or failing to appear for confirmed appointments
• Difficulty reaching telephone or live customer support
• Not realizing that a discounted cleaning included a recurring membership
• Appointments allegedly being scheduled without the customer intentionally requesting them
• A cleaner leaving before the complete booked service time
• Inadequate or incomplete cleaning
• Damage to household property
• Difficulty resolving billing, cleaning, or damage concerns

One ZeroStars reviewer said the cleaners who arrived were doing a great job but objected to the subscription commitment. This distinction is important because a customer may have a positive experience with an individual cleaner while still having concerns about Homeaglow’s membership, billing, or cancellation process.

These are individual consumer accounts and allegations. They do not establish that every cleaner, appointment, membership, or support interaction will produce the same result.

Frequently Reported Positive Experiences

Positive reviews on broader public platforms frequently mention:

• Good individual cleaners: Some customers praise a particular cleaner for being thorough, friendly, punctual, or professional.
• Choice of cleaners: Customers can browse profiles, hourly rates, availability, and reviews before selecting a cleaner.
• Convenient online booking: Some users appreciate scheduling and managing appointments through one dashboard.
• Lower member cleaning rates: Frequent users may save money on cleaner hourly rates when compared with Homeaglow’s one-time-cleaning prices.
• Ability to rebook a preferred cleaner: Customers may request the same cleaner again when the cleaner is available.

A positive review of a cleaner does not necessarily evaluate the ForeverClean membership, cancellation terms, booking fees, or Homeaglow customer support.

Frequently Reported Complaints

Negative public reviews commonly discuss:

• Unexpected membership enrollment: Some customers say they believed they were purchasing only a discounted introductory cleaning.
• Recurring monthly charges: Consumers sometimes report discovering the ForeverClean membership when reviewing a later card or bank statement.
• Cancellation costs: Customers have complained about being required to repay the introductory-cleaning discount when canceling during the initial commitment period.
• Cleaner no-shows or cancellations: Some appointments are reportedly canceled, rescheduled, or left unfilled at the last minute.
• Inconsistent cleaning quality: Experiences can vary because customers select from independent cleaners using the platform.
• Customer-service difficulty: Some consumers report difficulty reaching a person or obtaining a prompt resolution.
• Refund disputes: Complaints sometimes involve the amount, timing, or approval of a cleaning or membership refund.
• Property-damage concerns: Some customers report damaged possessions and dissatisfaction with the resolution process.
• Additional fees: The final price can include a booking fee, premium-cleaner fee, priority fee, taxes, tips, or paid cleaning extras.

Individual outcomes depend on the booking selected, cleaner, location, hours worked, membership status, cancellation date, documentation, and Homeaglow’s applicable policies.

As of July 22, 2026, Trustpilot displayed a 1.2 out of 5 rating based on approximately 2,410 Homeaglow reviews. About 91% of the displayed reviews were one-star ratings, while approximately 3% were five-star ratings.

Trustpilot’s current review summary identifies unexpected charges, membership enrollment, cancellation costs, cleaner reliability, cleaning quality, and customer support as recurring themes. Some reviewers nevertheless praise the cleaner who completed their appointment.

The Better Business Bureau currently lists Homeaglow as not accredited and not rated. BBB also displays several alerts relating to the company. BBB profiles and complaint totals can change as complaints are filed, answered, closed, or reopened.

Homeaglow is a marketplace rather than a traditional cleaning company that directly assigns its own employees to every home. The platform connects consumers with independent cleaning professionals who set their own rates and select jobs through Homeaglow.

Customers can:

• Browse available cleaners
• Review cleaner profiles and customer ratings
• Choose the number of cleaning hours
• Request a preferred appointment date and time
• Schedule recurring or one-time appointments
• Pay through the Homeaglow platform
• Request refunds or report problems through the account dashboard

Homeaglow says cleaners must complete an application, identity verification, a criminal background check or consumer report, and an introductory platform process. A background check does not guarantee the quality, punctuality, judgment, or conduct of any individual cleaner.

Homeaglow pricing has several separate components. The total is not necessarily limited to the cleaner’s displayed hourly rate.

ForeverClean Membership Fee

As of July 22, 2026, Homeaglow advertises ForeverClean at $59 per month, plus applicable taxes.

The membership fee is paid for access to discounted cleaning rates and platform benefits. It does not include the cost of the future cleaning appointments themselves.

Introductory Cleaning

Homeaglow advertises discounted first-cleaning offers for new ForeverClean members, including:

• $9 for two hours
• $19 for three hours
• $39 for four hours
• $79 for six hours

Offers can change and may differ by promotion, location, advertisement, and booking date.

Future Member Cleaning Costs

Homeaglow states that subsequent member cleanings average approximately $22 per hour. The actual rate depends on the cleaner selected, location, appointment, number of hours, and any additional options.

Booking and Additional Fees

Homeaglow states that its booking fee begins at 5%. A booking can also include:

• The cleaner’s hourly charge
• Booking or platform fees
• Priority-booking fees for certain short-notice requests
• Premium-cleaner fees when that option is selected
• Additional cleaning hours
• Special-request or cleaning-extra charges
• Taxes
• Optional tips
• The separate monthly membership fee

Review the complete estimated charge before confirming each appointment.

One-Time Cleaning Option

Homeaglow currently states that consumers can book a one-time cleaning without joining ForeverClean. One-time cleanings cost more per hour than membership cleanings but avoid the recurring monthly membership.

Consumers who need only one appointment should deliberately select the one-time option and save screenshots of the booking terms and checkout total.

ForeverClean is Homeaglow’s automatically renewing monthly membership. Homeaglow currently advertises the following potential benefits:

• Discounted hourly cleaning rates
• A heavily discounted introductory appointment
• Access to cleaners on the platform
• Flexible appointment scheduling
• Priority matching or related membership features
• Customer support through the platform

The membership does not provide unlimited free cleanings. Customers must separately pay for each completed appointment.

Homeaglow’s currently published general terms say that ForeverClean automatically renews monthly and begins with an initial six-month paid commitment.

For newer memberships, the posted terms say that canceling during the initial six-month period can result in the first cleaning being recalculated at the full non-member price. The current terms calculate that price at $35 per hour for the duration of the first cleaning, plus applicable taxes.

Homeaglow’s Help Center describes this as an early-termination fee and says it commonly ranges from approximately $150 to $200, although the exact amount depends on the original introductory discount.

That general policy is subject to the important rights created by the May 2026 Washington consent decree for certain earlier memberships.

In May 2026, Homeaglow, a related company, and the company’s two named founders entered into a consent decree with the Washington Attorney General.

The agreement included a $2.25 million judgment and requirements governing:

• Introductory-price advertising
• Recurring-membership disclosures
• Express informed consent
• Early-termination disclosures
• Cancellation methods
• Post-cancellation charges
• Artificial urgency and countdown displays
• Customer-review representations
• Compliance reporting

The state alleged that consumers were not given sufficiently clear information about the recurring membership, separate cleaning costs, transaction fees, and early-cancellation charges. Homeaglow and the other defendants denied wrongdoing and entered the agreement without a trial or admission of liability.

Cancellation Rights for Earlier Memberships

The consent decree provides special protection for ForeverClean memberships entered before Homeaglow achieved full compliance with the decree’s requirements.

For memberships covered by that provision, Homeaglow must:

• Waive the early-termination fee or other cancellation charge
• Immediately cancel when the consumer communicates an intent to cancel
• Avoid discouraging or delaying the cancellation
• Inform affected members that they can cancel without another fee
• Provide a direct cancellation link and instructions

Consumers who joined before the company’s compliance changes should preserve their original enrollment date and refer to the May 2026 consent decree when disputing an early-cancellation charge.

Newer memberships can be governed by the disclosures and terms accepted during the newer checkout process. Save a copy of the exact enrollment screen and terms provided when joining.

Canceling ForeverClean and canceling future cleaning appointments are separate actions. Complete both when you no longer want membership or cleaning services.

Cancel ForeverClean

1. Sign in directly through the official Homeaglow website.
2. Open the account dashboard.
3. Select Settings.
4. Select Membership.
5. Choose the cancellation option.
6. Complete every confirmation screen.
7. Save a screenshot and cancellation email.
8. Record the effective cancellation date.
9. Ask whether any additional membership charge is pending.

If the online cancellation option is unavailable, submit a support request and email Homeaglow. Clearly state that you are canceling the ForeverClean membership and request written confirmation.

Cancel Future Appointments

After canceling the membership, review the account dashboard for future or recurring cleaning appointments. Cancel each unwanted appointment separately.

Removing one appointment does not necessarily cancel the membership. Canceling the membership also may not automatically remove an appointment that has already been scheduled.

Consumers Covered by the 2026 Consent Decree

If your membership was entered before Homeaglow completed the changes required by the May 2026 consent decree, state in writing that you are requesting cancellation without an early-termination fee under the consent decree.

Include:

• Your membership enrollment date
• The date of your first cleaning
• The date you requested cancellation
• A screenshot of any cancellation charge shown
• A copy of any cancellation email received from Homeaglow

Do not publish this information in a public review without removing personal and payment details.

Homeaglow currently states that an appointment can be canceled or rescheduled without charge up to six hours before its scheduled start.

A cancellation made within six hours of the appointment can be nonrefundable because the cleaner reserved that time.

To cancel an appointment:

1. Open the Homeaglow account dashboard.
2. Select the appointment.
3. Choose Manage Appointment.
4. Select Cancel This Appointment.
5. Save the cancellation confirmation.

1. Save the booking confirmation and scheduled arrival time.
2. Take screenshots of messages with the cleaner.
3. Record whether the cleaner canceled, requested a new time, or did not respond.
4. Use the dashboard to report that the cleaner never arrived.
5. Request a replacement appointment or refund.
6. Confirm whether any membership, booking, or cleaning charge remains.
7. Ask for the resolution in writing.

Do not mark an appointment complete when no cleaning occurred. Review the account invoice to confirm that the recorded hours are accurate.

Homeaglow’s current resolution process says customers should generally request a partial or full refund within 72 hours after the cleaning.

To request a refund:

1. Open the completed appointment in the dashboard.
2. Select Report an Issue.
3. Select the option indicating that you were not satisfied.
4. Open the invoice.
5. Select Request Refund.
6. Describe the specific work that was incomplete or incorrectly billed.
7. Upload relevant photographs when appropriate.

The cleaner ordinarily has an opportunity to accept or decline the request. If the cleaner does not respond or the parties cannot agree, Homeaglow may become involved in the resolution process.

Homeaglow states that its decision is final when the customer asks the platform to decide the dispute.

Homeaglow says consumers should first contact the cleaner about missing or damaged property. The cleaner can offer a partial or full refund.

A consumer can ask Homeaglow to mediate when the matter cannot be resolved directly. Current policies require prompt reporting and documentation.

Important Damage-Claim Limits

Homeaglow’s policy currently states that:

• The cleaning must have been booked and paid through Homeaglow.
• The consumer must report the matter within the required period.
• Documentation may be required.
• A police report can be required for an alleged theft.
• Some property and losses are excluded.
• Homeaglow does not provide insurance for each cleaner.
• The potential resolution can be limited to the claim cost or three times the cleaning cost, whichever is lower.

Homeaglow says all cleaners undergo a background check, but background screening does not replace appropriate precautions. Secure cash, jewelry, financial records, medications, identity documents, firearms, sentimental objects, and other valuables before a cleaning appointment.

Homeaglow states that it does not provide insurance or bonding for cleaning appointments. Some independent cleaners may operate their own cleaning businesses and carry insurance, but Homeaglow says it does not collect or verify that information.

Consumers who are concerned about coverage should ask the individual cleaner for proof of current liability insurance before the appointment.

Before filing a bank or credit-card dispute, identify the type of charge:

• Monthly ForeverClean membership fee
• Cleaner’s hourly charge
• Booking fee
• Priority fee
• Premium-cleaner fee
• Additional cleaning hours
• Cleaning extra
• Late cancellation or lockout charge
• Early membership termination amount
• Tip or tax

Ask Homeaglow for an itemized invoice, membership-enrollment record, appointment history, cancellation record, and explanation of the charge.

If the charge remains unauthorized or unresolved, contact your bank or card issuer promptly and ask about its dispute procedures and deadlines. Explain whether you are disputing a membership charge, cleaning charge, cancellation amount, duplicate transaction, or payment for a service that was not performed.

A payment dispute does not necessarily cancel the membership or future appointments. Complete those cancellation steps separately.

Homeaglow is an identifiable U.S. company with an active website, established corporate entity, published terms, customer accounts, cleaner marketplace, and official support process. It should not be described as an anonymous fake website.

However, the company has received extensive consumer criticism involving subscription disclosures, recurring charges, cancellation costs, cleaner reliability, refunds, and customer support. In May 2026, Homeaglow and the other defendants entered into a $2.25 million Washington consent decree that requires major changes to membership advertising, enrollment, cancellation, and review practices.

Consumers should focus on specific, verifiable questions:

• Am I booking a one-time cleaning or joining ForeverClean?
• What is the monthly membership price?
• Does the membership include the cost of cleaning?
• What is the cleaner’s hourly rate?
• What booking and additional fees apply?
• How long is the initial commitment?
• What will I owe if I cancel?
• Does the 2026 consent-decree cancellation protection apply to my enrollment date?
• How do I cancel both the membership and future appointments?

The advertised $19 three-hour introductory cleaning is generally tied to the ForeverClean membership. Homeaglow also currently offers a separate one-time-cleaning option at a higher hourly price.

As of July 22, 2026, Homeaglow advertises ForeverClean at $59 per month, plus applicable taxes.

No. The membership provides access to discounted rates and platform benefits. Each cleaning is charged separately.

A consumer can submit a cancellation request at any time, but the financial result depends on the enrollment date and applicable terms. Newer posted terms can reprice the introductory cleaning when membership is canceled during the initial six-month period. Certain earlier memberships are protected by the 2026 consent decree and must be canceled without an early-termination charge.

Homeaglow’s Help Center describes an early-termination amount based on the discount provided for the first cleaning. It commonly estimates the charge at $150 to $200, although the precise calculation can vary.

Consumers with memberships covered by the May 2026 consent decree should request cancellation without that charge.

No. Canceling a cleaning appointment and canceling the ForeverClean membership are separate actions.

Do not assume it does. Review the dashboard and separately cancel any unwanted future or recurring appointments.

Homeaglow’s current official support pages direct customers to the Help Center, account dashboard, support request form, and support email rather than publishing a general support telephone number.

Homeaglow describes the cleaners on its platform as independent cleaning professionals who select jobs and establish their own rates.

Homeaglow states that applicants must pass a criminal background check or consumer report. Background screening does not guarantee that every customer will be satisfied with a cleaner’s reliability, experience, or performance.

Homeaglow states that it does not provide insurance or bonding for cleaning appointments. Some individual cleaners may carry their own coverage.
