About Arby’s
Background and guidance prepared by ZeroStars, separate from the customer reviews above. Dated figures in this guidance are historical snapshots; the header shows the current published rating. Expand a topic to read more.
Overview
Arby’s reviews and complaints commonly involve food quality, incorrect or missing orders, drive-thru waits, app and online ordering problems, refunds, delivery, coupons, gift cards, Loaded Rewards and customer service. Because many Arby’s restaurants are franchise-operated, the restaurant location and ordering channel matter when filing a complaint.

Arby’s Reviews and Complaints
Customer experiences vary by restaurant. Positive reviews often mention hot food, friendly employees, quick drive-thru service and menu favorites such as roast beef sandwiches and curly fries. Complaints more often mention cold or poorly prepared food, missing items, incorrect orders, long waits, rude interactions, refund frustration and problems with mobile ordering or promotions.
Common Arby’s Complaints
Incorrect or Missing Orders
Customers may report receiving the wrong sandwich, missing sides, omitted sauces, incorrect drink sizes or incomplete online orders. Check the order before leaving when practical, and keep the receipt or digital confirmation if you need a correction or refund.
Food Quality and Temperature
Public reviews sometimes mention cold fries, dry meat, stale bread, poorly assembled sandwiches or items that appear to have been held too long. If the problem involves possible food safety, stop eating the item, keep the receipt and packaging when practical, take photos and report it promptly.
Long Waits and Drive-Thru Service
Wait-time complaints often involve busy meal periods, understaffed restaurants or orders that require fresh preparation. If delays are recurring at one location, include the store address, date and approximate time in your review or complaint.
Arby’s App and Online Order Complaints
Arby’s supports ordering through Arbys.com and its mobile app. Common digital-order complaints can include login problems, payment errors, offers that do not apply, a wrong pickup location, duplicate-looking charges or an order that does not appear correctly at the restaurant.
Arby’s currently states that online orders placed for immediate or future pickup cannot be changed or canceled after submission. If an order is incorrect or an item is missing, Arby’s directs customers to its official message form so the issue can be reviewed.
Arby’s Delivery Complaints
Arby’s states that delivery orders placed through Arbys.com or the Arby’s app are managed and fulfilled by DoorDash. Arby’s directs customers with order or driver problems to DoorDash support through the delivery platform or the order-confirmation email.
For delivery orders placed directly through another third-party platform, start with that provider for driver, tracking, delivery-fee and payment issues. If the restaurant prepared the wrong food or left out items, also contact the Arby’s restaurant tied to the order.
Arby’s Refund Complaints
For a restaurant order problem, begin with the location shown on the receipt. For unresolved online-order, app, coupon or rewards problems, use Arby’s official contact form or Customer Support portal. Keep the order number, restaurant address, screenshots and payment record.
If a refund is approved, ask how it will be returned and whether the restaurant, Arby’s support team or a third-party delivery service is processing it.
Arby’s Loaded Rewards Complaints
Arby’s introduced Loaded Rewards in August 2026. Existing Rewards members were automatically upgraded, and new members now earn 10 points per $1 spent on eligible purchases.
Arby’s currently states that points expire after one year. Redeemed rewards generally expire 60 days after redemption. Members can use up to five rewards and one offer per order. In-store customers can use a six-digit code, while eligible in-app orders earn points automatically.
Arby’s also allows customers to refund an unused redeemed reward and have the points returned to their account, although the company notes that the point return may not be immediate.
Arby’s Coupons and Offers
Arby’s notes that coupon participation can vary by restaurant operator. Printed coupons may only be accepted at participating locations, while some emailed offers can be used online or in restaurants through a Rewards account.
If an offer affects the price materially, save a screenshot of the offer and checkout total before submitting the order.
Arby’s BBB Rating and Complaints
As of September 17, 2026, BBB profiles associated with Arby’s Restaurant Group showed that the business was not BBB accredited. One headquarters-linked profile displayed a D- rating and cited failure to respond to a large number of complaints as a reason for the rating.
BBB also maintains separate profiles for franchise operators and regional Arby’s groups. Those records can differ significantly, so a complaint count or rating from one franchise operator should not be treated as the record of every Arby’s restaurant.
Arby’s Trustpilot Reviews
As of September 17, 2026, Arby’s unclaimed Trustpilot profile displayed a 1.7 out of 5 TrustScore from 671 reviews. The displayed distribution included 65% one-star reviews and 14% five-star reviews. Trustpilot also stated that Arby’s had no history of inviting reviews, so the sample may not represent all customers.
Review themes include food quality, incorrect or missing orders, long waits and employee interactions. These are individual consumer reports rather than a representative nationwide survey.
How to File an Arby’s Complaint
- Start with the restaurant. For a current food, drive-thru or pickup problem, ask for the manager at the location involved.
- Keep documentation. Save the receipt, order number, screenshots, photos and delivery confirmation when relevant.
- Use Arby’s support route. Submit the issue through the official contact form or Customer Support portal.
- Contact the delivery provider. If DoorDash or another third-party platform handled the order, use that service’s support channel for delivery-specific problems.
- Escalate if needed. Request review by a district manager, franchise operator or corporate support team if the issue remains unresolved.

Arby’s Franchise vs. Corporate Complaints
Many Arby’s restaurants are franchise-operated. Local restaurant management or the franchise owner may control staffing, daily service, some coupons and certain refund decisions, while Arby’s and Inspire Brands operate the brand’s digital systems, rewards program and broader support resources.
When filing a complaint, identify whether the problem involves a specific restaurant, the Arby’s app, Loaded Rewards, delivery, a coupon or a gift card. That distinction helps route the issue to the right team.
