Overview

BP / Amoco reviews on ZeroStars cover U.S. gas stations, convenience-store purchases, fuel, earnify rewards, app payments and customer support. Share a positive, neutral or negative experience on the −5 to +5 scale. A rating of 0 is valid for an ordinary or mixed visit.

Amoco is part of bp’s U.S. fuel-brand network, and both brands participate in earnify. This page covers BP and Amoco station experiences together. Identify the specific location and the business on your receipt: a fuel-brand sign does not mean every store, car wash or repair service is operated by the same company.

Station Service, Fuel Prices and Receipts

For a price discrepancy, missing receipt, store purchase or employee concern, start with the location’s manager. Keep the address, date, time, pump number, fuel grade, gallons and amount paid. Check whether the advertised price required a specific payment method or reward before comparing it with your receipt.

Use the official BP station finder to identify the location and listed services. Explain whether you visited a BP or Amoco station, and whether the problem involved fuel, an in-store transaction or another business at the address.

For a suspected fuel-quality problem, preserve the receipt and obtain a mechanic’s written findings. Tell the station and BP consumer support what happened and ask how to submit documentation for review. Do not assume repair reimbursement before the cause, applicable coverage and responsible business have been established.

Earnify Replaced BPme Rewards

FNBO’s current BP card information confirms that BPme Rewards ended in 2024 and was replaced by earnify. The BPme Rewards Visa name also changed to bp rewards Visa. Those similar names refer to a loyalty program and a bank-issued credit card, with different support needs.

BP’s official earnify app listing advertises 5¢ per gallon savings, 1 point per dollar spent on fuel and 2 points per dollar on convenience purchases at participating locations. It says points may take up to 24 hours to appear. Check the actual offer in your account for eligibility and limitations.

Keep screenshots of an activated offer, your receipt and the points history when reporting missing savings. Explain whether the issue is a missing pump discount, missing points or a redeemed reward that did not apply. Ask support to review the specific transaction rather than assuming all three benefits follow the same rules.

Review the terms available in your earnify account for point expiration, redemption limits and exclusions. Do not apply the credit card’s points rules to the earnify loyalty balance. Related programs such as earnify pro also have their own conditions; professional-driver experiences at TA or Petro belong on the existing TravelCenters of America page.

App Payments and Unexpected Charges

Before authorizing a purchase, confirm the station, pump and payment method shown in the app. If an error appears, check the receipt and transaction history and ask the attendant whether the pump activated before making repeated attempts.

Earnify’s published features include saved fuel receipts and a participating-site locator. For troubleshooting, send support the error message, time, location, device type and app version. Never include passwords, full payment-card numbers or banking credentials in a public review.

If your bank shows more than you expected after fueling, ask whether the amount is a pending authorization or a posted purchase. Compare it with the final receipt. Ask the bank and merchant to investigate any discrepancy; no fixed hold amount or release time should be assumed for every BP or Amoco transaction.

BP Rewards Visa and Other Payment Accounts

The bp rewards Visa is issued by First National Bank of Omaha, or FNBO. FNBO promotes using it with earnify, but the card account remains separate from the loyalty account. Card offers can vary by application channel and opening date, so use the terms attached to your own account.

Contact FNBO for billing, interest, payments, card-account access or bank reward questions. Send earnify account issues to BP’s consumer support team. For a fleet card or business payment account, use the provider named on that card or statement rather than assuming the consumer Visa team handles it.

Gift Cards, Store Returns and Car Washes

The BP gift-card disclosure published by authorized distributor SVS Gift Cards Direct says the card can purchase fuel and merchandise at U.S. BP locations. It excludes payment of BP credit accounts and cash redemption except where required by law, and says lost, stolen or destroyed cards will not be replaced.

Keep the card and purchase confirmation. For a balance problem, use the contact printed on the card; for an undelivered card bought from another seller, contact that seller about its order. Confirm acceptance at the intended location and payment channel before relying on the card.

For merchandise returns, ask the selling store for its policy and bring the receipt. For a failed wash code, incomplete wash or alleged damage, contact the wash operator promptly with the receipt, code and photographs. A loyalty-points correction does not automatically refund a store purchase or car wash.

If a repair business operates at the station, use the business name on the work order. Ask that shop for its written parts and labor warranty, exclusions and claim procedure. Do not assume BP guarantees work performed by another company. Likewise, distinguish third-party delivery orders from purchases made directly at the store.

Following Up on an Unresolved Complaint

Keep a brief timeline and copies of responses. After contacting the station manager or relevant support team, request further review if the answer leaves a specific issue unresolved. Provide the previous case number, transaction evidence, amount involved and the outcome you are requesting.

Ask which business will handle the next step and how to follow up. Separate the station’s actions from BP’s support response or FNBO’s decision in your review. Posting on ZeroStars does not send a claim to those businesses or initiate a refund.

Writing a Useful BP or Amoco Review

Name the brand, city, street and approximate visit date. Explain the service used and what happened: clear pricing, clean facilities, helpful staff, reliable pumps, successful savings, an app error or an unresolved complaint.

Use a rating from −5 to +5 to reflect your experience. Positive reviews help readers understand what worked, negative reviews should describe the problem and response, and 0 fits a neutral or mixed outcome. Update your review if the business resolves the issue. Keep personal account information and unredacted receipts private.
