Samsung Appliances, Bespoke and Who Handles Your Claim
Samsung appliances are part of Samsung Electronics’ product business, with U.S. support through Samsung Electronics America. Bespoke is a Samsung product range, not a separate appliance manufacturer. Samsung also acquired Dacor, but Dacor-branded products should be identified separately and use their own brand-specific support and warranty documents.
- Manufacturer warranty: Samsung evaluates covered defects and authorizes the applicable service or remedy.
- Samsung.com order: Use Samsung’s order-support process for direct-purchase delivery, cancellation and return requests.
- Retailer order: Contact the store about its return policy and any delivery or installation it arranged.
- Samsung Care+ or another protection plan: Follow the claim process in that contract. It is distinct from the original product warranty.
- Independent installer or repair company: Identify the company that performed and billed for the work; its workmanship dispute may require a separate case.
What to Include in Your Samsung Appliance Review
Describe the exact product and outcome. A working refrigerator, convenient laundry cycle, helpful technician or successful replacement can be as useful to readers as an unresolved complaint. Avoid assuming that one model or service visit represents every Samsung appliance.
- Refrigerators: Explain cooling, ice production, storage, noise and any repair outcome.
- Laundry: Describe cleaning, drying, cycle times, vibration and whether installation or maintenance affected performance.
- Dishwashers and cooking appliances: Include cleaning, drying, temperature control, controls and reliability.
- Bespoke and connected features: Identify the model and distinguish the appliance’s core functions from its screen, app or SmartThings experience.
- Service: Include response time, appointment attendance, diagnosis, parts availability, charges and whether the problem was resolved.
Useful details include the approximate purchase date, retailer, model, warranty status, number of repair visits and final result. Keep full serial numbers, addresses, phone numbers, case numbers and unredacted receipts out of public reviews.
Registration, Manuals and Warranty Terms
Register the appliance with its model, serial number and proof of purchase, and keep the receipt. Use your Samsung account’s My Products area to check the recorded coverage. If the warranty date is wrong, the service portal provides a “Review Warranty” process for uploading purchase evidence.
Retrieve the exact model’s manual from Samsung’s downloads page. Samsung’s home-appliance terms direct owners to that manual for the complete limited warranty.
Samsung describes most appliances as having a one-year manufacturer warranty for parts and labor, starting on the purchase date. Longer component coverage does not mean the whole appliance receives the same protection. For example, its refrigerator warranty guide distinguishes five-year sealed-system coverage from ten-year digital-inverter-compressor parts coverage with five years of labor. Confirm your model and purchase-specific terms.
Time-limited offers: The appliance warranty page checked September 28, 2026 advertises an eligible-purchase promotion running July 9–September 30, 2026, requiring a valid claim through SmartThings. Its footnote describes one extra year added to the original year, for two years total. Eligibility and redemption requirements apply; do not assume registration alone earns the promotion or that it applies to older purchases.
Warranty Exclusions and Denied Claims
Samsung’s published Bespoke refrigerator warranty example covers qualifying manufacturing defects in household use and lists exclusions such as shipment or installation damage, cosmetic damage, misuse, unauthorized alterations, improper utilities and damage associated with unauthorized work or parts. It also addresses maintenance and installation corrections.
This example is not a universal warranty for every Samsung model or purchase date. Read your own document and ask which provision applies to a denied claim. A manufacturer warranty, delivery-damage claim and installer-workmanship complaint may require different evidence and different contacts.
Keep the technician’s diagnosis, photos, invoices and written coverage decision. Ask Samsung to confirm authorization before arranging a repair you expect it to pay for. Do not assume spoiled food, temporary replacement equipment or other incidental expenses will be reimbursed without checking the applicable warranty or plan.
Authorized Repairs, Parts and Samsung Care+
Use the official service portal to request appliance service and follow repair status. Have the model, serial number, symptoms and purchase evidence ready. Confirm whether the appointment is in warranty, covered by a protection plan or chargeable.
For paid work, ask for the diagnostic charge, parts and labor estimate, repeat-visit costs and the repair guarantee in writing. For a parts delay, request the part number, estimated availability and a follow-up date. Do not treat an appointment confirmation as approval for a replacement or refund.
Samsung’s service portal identifies Samsung Parts as an authorized parts distributor. Samsung also offers appliance accessories. Match the full model number before ordering and check the seller’s return terms before installing an item.
Samsung Care+ for appliances has a separate claim route through MyCarePlusClaim.com or 1-866-371-9501. Benefits and exclusions depend on the plan purchased. Retailer protection plans and home warranties may have different administrators; use the contract you actually hold.
Samsung.com Appliance Returns
Samsung’s current return policy lists a standard 15-day window from delivery and a 15% fee for appliance or accessory returns unrelated to damage or defect. It says shipping, installation and other service fees are nonrefundable. Check your order’s displayed deadline and obtain return instructions before arranging collection.
Inspect at delivery: Report visible damage to the driver or refuse delivery. If you accepted delivery or installation and discover a problem afterward, Samsung requires reporting within five days of delivery or two days of installation, whichever is later, for damaged or defective return eligibility. Validation and photographs are required.
The damage-reporting deadline is separate from the general return window. Keep photographs and contact records immediately. A later malfunction may instead follow the manufacturer-warranty process. If you bought through Best Buy or Home Depot, use that retailer’s return policy rather than assuming Samsung.com terms apply.
Delivery, Installation and Haul-Away
Review Samsung’s product-specific delivery instructions and the services selected on your order. Delivery-only, installation and haul-away are different services. Confirm access, space, suitable utility connections and required installation accessories before the appointment.
Samsung’s laundry instructions restrict installation on old or non-Samsung pedestals and specify conditions for stacking and delivery of bundled units. Check the requirements for your exact order instead of assuming existing accessories can be reused.
Haul-away must be selected where offered. With delivery-only service, Samsung’s guidance requires the old appliance to be disconnected, unmounted, empty and uninstalled before collection. Other restrictions apply by product. For third-party installation, document who performed the work and report installation damage to the responsible company as well as the seller when appropriate.
Samsung Appliance Recalls
Check the exact model and serial number against the relevant official notice. Samsung’s slide-in electric range recall page covers specific front-knob models and offers free knob locks or covers. It addresses accidental knob activation by people or pets. Follow the notice’s safety instructions and model-specific remedy.
Samsung also publishes a software-remedy notice for certain top-load washers and a separate earlier top-load washer recall. These are different campaigns; eligibility for one does not establish eligibility for another. Do not assume every Samsung range or washer is recalled, or that every performance issue is covered by a recall.
How to Escalate a Samsung Appliance Complaint
- Prepare a short timeline covering purchase, first symptoms, service visits, promised actions and the unresolved issue.
- Contact Samsung support and ask for a case reference, the next action and a follow-up date.
- Request supervisor review if the problem remains unresolved, and ask for a written explanation of any coverage denial.
- After using standard support, consider Samsung’s official U.S. CEO’s office contact route. Provide the existing case reference and a clear requested outcome. The page does not promise a response to every message or a particular remedy.
- Pursue retailer returns, installer damage and protection-plan claims through the responsible seller, contractor or administrator separately.

Frequently asked questions
Samsung Appliances FAQs
What number should I call for Samsung appliance support?
Call 1-800-726-7864 or use the official Samsung support page for chat, repair requests and product-specific help.
Is Bespoke a separate company?
No. Bespoke is a Samsung appliance range. Identify your complete model when requesting support.
Does a ten-year compressor warranty cover the entire refrigerator?
No. Component coverage can differ from the overall appliance warranty and can have different parts and labor periods. Check your model’s warranty.
Can I return an appliance bought at another retailer to Samsung.com?
Start with the seller for a retailer return. Samsung manufacturer-warranty service is a separate process from that seller’s return policy.
How do I find out whether my appliance is recalled?
Use the official recall pages linked above and match the required model and serial information. Follow the specific notice rather than relying on brand or appearance.
Can I leave a neutral or positive review?
Yes. Positive, neutral and negative firsthand reviews are welcome. Choose a rating from −5 to +5, including 0, and explain the experience behind it.
