Overview

Acura reviews and complaints can help other drivers understand a vehicle, dealership, warranty, repair, financing, roadside-assistance or connected-service experience. Share what happened, which Acura model or service you used and whether the issue was resolved. Positive, neutral and negative experiences are welcome on ZeroStars’ −5 to +5 rating scale.

Acura sells premium cars and SUVs in the United States and supports owners through authorized Acura dealers, Acura Client Relations, Acura Total Luxury Care Roadside Assistance, AcuraLink and Acura Financial Services. The editorial information below summarizes selected official support, warranty, recall and ownership information; it is separate from customer reviews and does not represent a survey of Acura owners.

What to Include in Your Acura Review

A useful Acura review gives enough detail for another consumer to understand the experience without exposing personal information:

  • Vehicle: model, model year, trim or powertrain and approximate mileage.
  • Dealer or service location: dealership name and city or state.
  • What happened: sales issue, repair concern, warranty decision, recall, financing problem, roadside event or AcuraLink issue.
  • Timeline: approximate dates, number of visits and how long the vehicle was unavailable.
  • Resolution: what the dealer, Acura Client Relations or Acura Financial Services offered and whether the issue was corrected.

Choose the rating that reflects your own experience. A rating of 0 is valid. Do not post your full VIN, finance account number, AcuraLink credentials, license plate, home address, phone number or unredacted service documents.

Warranty and Repair Concerns

Acura’s current U.S. vehicle specifications list a 4-year/50,000-mile New Vehicle Limited Warranty and a 6-year/70,000-mile Powertrain Limited Warranty, whichever comes first, subject to the applicable warranty booklet, exclusions and vehicle-specific terms.

Current Acura specifications also list a 5-year/unlimited-mile Outer Body Rust-Through Limited Warranty. Additional emissions, accessory, seat-belt and electrified-vehicle coverage can apply depending on the vehicle.

If you dispute a warranty decision, ask the dealer to identify the warranty provision being applied and request a written repair order showing the complaint, diagnosis, parts replaced and final disposition. Keep every repair order, including visits where no repair was completed.

Recalls and Safety Campaigns

Acura provides recall information through its owner resources and lists 1-888-234-2138 for recall-related support, Monday–Friday, 6 a.m.–5 p.m. Pacific.

If your review involves a recall or campaign, include the recall number if you know it, when you contacted the dealer, whether parts or software were available, how long the repair took and whether the remedy was completed. Avoid posting your full VIN publicly.

Roadside Assistance

Acura Total Luxury Care Roadside Assistance is included during the 4-year/50,000-mile New Vehicle Limited Warranty period on eligible vehicles. Acura’s Roadside Assistance number is 1-800-594-8500, with emergency assistance available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Roadside services can include towing to the closest Acura dealer, battery jump-starts, emergency fuel delivery, lockout help and flat-tire assistance, subject to program terms and vehicle eligibility.

If your complaint involves roadside assistance, document the request time, location, estimated arrival time, towing destination and any charge you were asked to approve.

Acura Financial Services: Payments, Loans and Leases

Acura Financial Services, provided through American Honda Finance Corporation, handles financing and leasing for many Acura customers. Acura’s current financial-services site provides account login, payment tools, lease-end information, applications and a Help Center for account-specific support.

If your complaint involves a payment, payoff, lease or account issue, keep the payment confirmation, date, amount and any written account status or payoff quote. Distinguish between the Acura dealer and Acura Financial Services when describing who handled each part of the issue.

Dealer Sales and Service Issues

An Acura purchase, trade-in, repair or warranty experience may involve both an independently operated Acura dealer and Acura Division of American Honda Motor Co. Acura says the local Acura dealer is the first stop for questions involving service, genuine parts, recalls, warranty repairs and other vehicle concerns.

For a sales concern, keep the buyer’s order, advertised offer, financing or lease documents and any written promises. For repairs, keep each repair order and note whether the same symptom returned. If you escalate a concern to Acura Client Relations, save the case or reference number and record the outcome.

AcuraLink and In-Car Technology

AcuraLink can provide eligible remote functions, vehicle notifications, emergency-response features, roadside-related services and other connected features depending on the vehicle, model year, hardware, cellular coverage, account status and active subscription.

Acura lists 1-877-375-2638 for support on supported AcuraLink services and 1-888-528-7876 for In-Car Technology Support. Current Acura vehicle materials describe complimentary AcuraLink trials on selected supported models, with feature availability varying by trim and package.

If your complaint involves AcuraLink or in-car technology, record the vehicle, app or software version when possible, the date the issue began and whether the feature worked through another device or account.

Acura Maintenance Program

For 2025 and newer eligible Acura vehicles, the Acura Maintenance Program currently covers the first oil change, tire rotation and multi-point inspection within 1 year or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first. Acura notes that eligibility, coverage details and exclusions should be confirmed with a participating Acura dealer.

This is different from older Acura program terms that covered certain scheduled maintenance for 2 years/24,000 miles. Owners should use the program applicable to their exact model year.

If your review involves complimentary maintenance, identify which service was due, whether the dealer said it was included and whether any additional work was recommended or charged separately.

Electric Vehicle Battery Coverage

For eligible Acura battery-electric vehicles such as the ZDX, Acura has listed an 8-year/100,000-mile High-Voltage Battery Limited Warranty, whichever comes first, subject to the applicable warranty terms. Model-specific battery-capacity provisions and exclusions can apply.

For a charging complaint, note whether the issue occurred at home or at a public charger, the charger type, any error message, the approximate battery state of charge and whether the vehicle charged normally elsewhere.
