Overview

Ram reviews and complaints can help other drivers understand a truck, van, dealership, warranty, repair, financing, roadside-assistance or connected-service experience. Share what happened, which Ram model or service you used and whether the issue was resolved. Positive, neutral and negative experiences are welcome on ZeroStars’ −5 to +5 rating scale.

Ram sells pickup trucks, heavy-duty trucks, chassis cabs and commercial vans in the United States and supports owners through Ram dealers, Ram Customer Care, Mopar Roadside Assistance, Ram Connect and the Ram app. Financing can be provided by lenders such as Chrysler Capital or other institutions named on the customer’s contract. The editorial information below summarizes selected official support, warranty, recall and ownership information; it is separate from customer reviews and does not represent a survey of Ram owners.

What to Include in Your Ram Review

A useful Ram review gives enough detail for another consumer to understand the experience without exposing personal information:

  • Vehicle: model, model year, trim, engine or electric powertrain and approximate mileage.
  • Dealer or service location: dealership name and city or state.
  • What happened: sales issue, repair concern, warranty decision, recall, financing problem, roadside event or connected-service issue.
  • Timeline: approximate dates, number of visits and how long the vehicle was unavailable.
  • Resolution: what the dealer, Ram, Mopar or finance company offered and whether the issue was corrected.

Choose the rating that reflects your own experience. A rating of 0 is valid. Do not post your full VIN, finance account number, Ram Connect credentials, license plate, home address, phone number or unredacted service documents.

Warranty and Repair Concerns

Ram warranty coverage varies by model and model year, so owners should check the warranty information tied to their exact VIN. A 3-year/36,000-mile Basic Limited Warranty is common on current Ram vehicles, subject to the applicable warranty booklet and exclusions.

Ram has expanded powertrain coverage on some newer vehicles. Ram’s current materials advertise a 10-year/100,000-mile limited powertrain warranty on select 2026 Ram trucks and vans, while other model years and vehicles can carry different powertrain terms such as 5 years/60,000 miles. Do not assume one Ram warranty term applies to every truck or van.

If you dispute a warranty decision, ask the dealer to identify the warranty provision being applied and request a written repair order showing the complaint, diagnosis, parts replaced and final disposition. Keep every repair order, including visits where no repair was completed.

Recalls and Safety Campaigns

Ram owners can check recalls and campaigns through Ram and Mopar owner resources using the vehicle identification number. Mopar also lists 1-800-853-1403 for recall information.

If your review involves a recall or campaign, include the recall number if you know it, when you contacted the dealer, whether parts or software were available, how long the repair took and whether the remedy was completed. Avoid posting your full VIN publicly.

Roadside Assistance

Mopar lists 1-800-521-2779 for U.S. roadside assistance for Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram vehicles and says support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Covered services can include towing, flat-tire assistance, battery jump-starts, lockout service and fuel delivery, subject to the vehicle’s eligibility and applicable program terms. Many current Ram materials list 5 years/60,000 miles of Roadside Assistance, but owners should verify the coverage attached to their model and model year.

If your complaint involves roadside assistance, document the request time, location, estimated arrival time, towing destination and any charge you were asked to approve.

Financing and Leasing

Ram vehicles may be financed or leased through Chrysler Capital or another lender selected by the dealer or customer. Chrysler Capital provides retail and lease financing for Ram vehicles, but the company responsible for your account is the lender named on your contract.

If your complaint involves a payment, payoff or lease, keep the payment confirmation, date, amount and any written account status or payoff quote. Distinguish between the Ram dealer, the vehicle manufacturer and the finance company when describing who handled each part of the issue.

Dealer Sales and Service Issues

A Ram purchase, trade-in, repair or warranty experience may involve both an independently operated dealer and FCA US LLC. In a review, distinguish between what the dealer said or did and what Ram or Mopar customer support said or did.

For a sales concern, keep the buyer’s order, advertised offer, financing or lease documents and any written promises. For repairs, keep each repair order and note whether the same symptom returned. If you escalate a concern to Ram Customer Care, save the case or reference number and record the outcome.

Ram Connect, Uconnect and the Ram App

Ram Connect and the Ram app can provide compatible remote vehicle controls, diagnostics, vehicle information, navigation and other connected features depending on the vehicle, hardware, cellular coverage and active service plan.

Mopar lists 1-800-777-3600 for Jeep and Ram Connect Customer Care. If your complaint involves connected services, record the vehicle, app or software version when possible, the date the issue began and whether the feature worked through another device or account.

Electric Ram Vehicles and Charging

Ram’s current EV materials list an 8-year/100,000-mile E-Powertrain and Battery Limited Warranty for eligible electric vehicles, subject to the applicable model-specific warranty terms. Ram also lists a 3-year/36,000-mile Basic Limited Warranty on current EV materials.

For an EV charging complaint, note whether the issue occurred at home or at a public charger, the charger type, any error message, the approximate battery state of charge and whether the vehicle charged normally elsewhere. That detail can help readers understand whether the issue appeared specific to the vehicle, charger or location.

Service Scheduling and Maintenance Records

Ram’s owner services and Mopar resources provide access to service scheduling, maintenance information, warranty status, recalls and owner manuals. Dealer appointment availability, diagnosis and repair timing can vary by location.

When reviewing a maintenance or repair experience, include the service requested, the dealer’s diagnosis, the estimate, whether additional work was recommended and whether the final invoice matched what you authorized.
